 Once upon a time, unbeknownst to two people, they were lovers 3, 500 years ago. Now, in the 21st century, they meet again, but after nearly an hour of conversing, only one of them recognizes what might really be happening… Such is the pattern of the Twin Soul or Twin Flame relationship. It is literally a love that never wavers, never diminishes with time and space. And while it’s true that the unaware person feels drawn toward their twin, they actually have no idea what is taking place. The two talk. On the surface they seem to come from different worlds. There are divisions in age, religion and socioeconomic status, but despite this, there are often there are a number of uncanny “coincidences” as well. Theirs has been a life of synchronous dances. Much to their surprise, they both feel trapped in unhealthy relationships. Additionally, they have moved in circles very near, and at times, overlapping one another. During the course of their conversation, something is said that causes the unaware person to experience a deeply-held pain that they have been denying for a long, while. That’s when the unaware twin shuts down and takes on the role of the “runner”. At some point, the twins are forced apart to deal with each of their dysfunctional relationships and other commitments. Eventually, they reunite. The fully awake twin has hungered for the recognition of their beloved for months or even years. The runner has been deeply moved by their encounters, but hasn’t been quite sure what to make of it all. Through each subsequent meeting, the runner’s behavior has taken on an oxymoron-esque quality, moving from icy to hot in a matter of minutes or even seconds. Predictably, this is due to a deep-seated pain, often caused by a lifetime of hurtful relationships. They have endured abandonment in a variety of forms. Everything they have experienced up until now has taught them to be wary of, and even run away from, love. Indeed, time has slowly passed since their initial “chance” encounter. The thing is, in spite of their inconvenient circumstances, they sense a magical alchemy in the air. Whenever the other is near, chemistry surrounds them and they find themselves touched by the light of life inside Jupiter’s moon and an ancient love they once shared. Now a fire is ignited within. To their amazement, the energetic connection between them is strong enough to allow each to feel the other’s emotions. It has even been suggested that the duo may have the ability to communicate telepathically. This may partially explain why some have reported the enhanced abilities of clairaudience and other psychic gifts. Eventually, the runner figures out what’s really going on. But to their disappointment, both are facing enormous hurdles in their lives. How does one of them bring up the idea of a twin flame relationship without looking foolish? What if all of this is in their imagination? And even if both lovers are on the same page, how will they resolve all of the complexities such as jobs and family commitments which would easily keep most people apart? As it turns out, the purpose behind these relationships is almost always to learn about unconditional love—how to give and receive it. For the twins, theirs is a love that began long ago and far away. Through the grace of destiny, their deep connection has stood the test of time. Now each yearns to be with the other. Even so, there is no rushing this. Frustration sets in. However, with patience and perseverance, the twins can reunite and remain together until death once again separates them.
