Are Humans Wired with a Biologically-based Cell Phone? Thanks to the Pineal Gland and Third Eye Chakra, the Answer Might be Yes!

As it turns out, the center of the human brain might have evolved to function as a type of cellular telephone. Strange, I know, but just hear me out.

In the middle of our brains lies a gray matter-containing structure known as the thalamus. The thalamus is located between the left and right cerebral hemispheres, and consists of two egg-shaped structures which flank the third ventricle. Additionally, between the two halves of the thalamus—in the epithalamus, which is near the center of the brain—is a structure known as the pineal gland. And it is here where things get especially interesting.

That’s because the pineal gland, a pinecone-shaped gland housed inside the brain, is considered to be the Third Eye—a type of All Knowing system which is available to everyone. The pineal gland and third eye are constructs which are well known throughout the world. For example, in Hindu, the third eye is painted on the forehead of Shiva and other deities. Buddhists have a third eye placed on the forehead of Buddha. In ancient Egyptian iconography, the third eye is better known as the Eye of Horus or the Eye of Ra and is known to represent the sun and moon, creative actions, and destructive and protective powers. If that weren’t enough, in Mexico, there is a depiction of the god Chicomecoatl holding a pinecone (the shape of the pineal gland). And lastly, in ancient Assyria, there are palace carvings that depict winged gods carrying pinecones and sprinkling their pollen onto the Tree of Life.

So, what exactly is the significance of the third eye? Just as our physical eyes help us to perceive our material world, it is believed that the third eye helps us to perceive the True World—reality as it actually is. As such, the third eye is said to be the center for imagination, intuition, inner wisdom, psychic abilities, telepathic communication and an intimate connection with God. Put another way, it is through the third eye that we are able to see that which cannot be seen by our physical eyes, hear that which falls outside the realm of “normal” human hearing, and receive information which represents a quantum leap in humankind’s understanding of science, technology, literature and other disciplines. In essence, the third eye provides each and every one of us an opportunity, at a truly visceral level, to experience the unified One. Many consider the third eye system to be the pilot of our soul, leading us on a journey to an unbreakable connection with God/the Universe/the Greater One.

Since everything in the Universe/the Greater One is made up of energy, it should not be surprising that the third eye is also considered to be energetic in nature. Thus, it is believed that by accessing the higher vibrational frequencies (energies), humans are able to contact or be contacted by the higher realms. Such realms may include intelligent, spiritually evolved, benevolent, extraterrestrial lifeforms, starseeds, indigos, and others who may reside in different locations or dimensions within and beyond our own planetary system. Stated another way, the third eye can be thought of as a biological, spiritual technology – a type of “E.T. phone home” communication system in which time and space knows no boundaries.

Something to keep in mind is that to other beings in the cosmos, we will soon be E.T’s as we chart our destiny in and beyond our solar system. Perhaps one day, the planets that we visit or even seed as part of a Continuity of Species Program, will contain intelligent lifeforms who, through the magic of DNA sequencing, will be created in our image and likeness, but made to survive in conditions compatible with those found in another planetary system. Maybe those beings, (our offspring) will also be created to communicate telepathically with us, just as we might be communicating with those who either seeded and/or enhanced our DNA throughout our evolution here on planet Earth.

This idea seems a bit less outlandish once we consider how some people have reluctantly come forward with strange accounts of contact with extraterrestrials/interdimensionals which included telepathic communication and an increase in psychic abilities post-contact. Are all of these people psychotic? Since many of them have expressed deep concern over the state of their mental health after such encounters, but were able to return to their normal (and in some instances, high-functioning) lives, I rather doubt it.

With regard to contact, entities in the “higher realms” are said to vibrate at a frequency that is higher than that of the third and fourth density experienced by Earth humans. However, once we come into contact with E.T.s, their craft, or through naturally-occurring influences, it has been suggested that portions of our so-called “junk” DNA will be activated and/or a clearing of our third eye chakra will take place, thus elevating our vibratory frequency and helping to open up our third eye.
Picture
Linking these ideas together, when it comes to chakras, our current understanding of the chakra system is that it consists of wheels of energy which spin in such a way as to enable spirit to animate our physical form. Stated another way, its function is to move spirit within the human vessel. If any of the chakra wheels becomes blocked or stagnant, the body will experience a lack of ease, depression and eventually, disease.

For those unfamiliar with the chakra system, the third eye is said to have its own chakra, located in the center of the forehead near the pineal gland. In the Hindu system, if the third eye chakra specifically is closed, a person is considered more likely to experience pessimism, cynicism, confusion and uncertainty.

Many esoteric traditions around the globe have heralded the third eye as our connection to spirit. The third eye is considered to be the space between each and every human being and the Greater One. In other words, it has been designed to move us away from the isolation experienced in the human condition and return us to the Greater One and as such, it is believed that through a high-functioning third eye, we find our highest source of ethereal energy. This is why working to expand our third-eye awareness by way of prayer, meditation, exercise and eating a clean, high-vibration diet (fresh fruits and vegetables free from pesticides and preservatives) is how we are all able to lift our vibratory frequency and create the best life for ourselves and others.

What about you? Have you experienced the opening of your third eye? Have you ever communicated telepathically with others? Did you receive telepathic downloads and wonder what in the world was happening? Did you experience an increase in your psychic abilities after a UFO or E.T. encounter? I look forward to hearing from you!

Happy New Year!

The Importance of Implementing Spiritual Wisdom in Advanced Technological and Societal Development

12/27/2019

It has been suggested that if the human mind can imagine it, then we can create it.

To me, this is a good thing, but only IF we do not take shortcuts in our advanced technological development. Instead of the military-industrial complex (MIC) taking the easy way out by accepting technology gifts from outside sources, it is imperative that we - and ultimately the MIC through the leadership of the spiritually wise - focus on doing the  work necessary to access higher consciousness. Simply stated, the way I see it, this is the only way our species may reach our highest potential.

Why do I believe this? From my perspective, it is only through the dedication and self-discipline of learning spiritual principles and meditation that an individual involved in technology development (the microcosm) will be able to access ancient wisdom in a way which is complete and therefore, truly wise. Once self-actualization occurs, these individuals will tend to gravitate toward working with other like-minded individuals in a type of quest to aid Earth Humans on the societal level (the macrocosm). This is how spiritually competent technologists and their supporting team members will make it far less likely that our species will  destroy ourselves or harm anyone who may be linked to us in other dimensions.

Additionally, prior to or concurrent with the development of advanced devices and systems - some of which can operate on the nano- and pico- scale - our leadership should take the bold steps necessary to make other pressing societal issues a priority. Ultimately, it  is in everyone's best interests to create the kind of society capable of lifting up those in need to the point of thriving. To me, and I suspect to those extraterrestrial and extradimensional beings who are more advanced than we are, both ingredients are necessary to propel our species forward, without harming others in the process.

Scouts From The Stars

As much as I’d like to think that polarity is confined to our planetary system, evidence such as the existence of the asteroid belt suggests otherwise. Still, as a researcher of extraterrestrial lifeforms and their interactions with humans (not to mention, a writer of science fiction), what I can tell you is this: there is plenty of evidence to suggest that there are intelligent beings throughout the cosmos. One example is an interview with Paul Hellyer, former Minister of Defense for Canada.

So, with the idea that Earth humans aren't the only game in town, let’s assume for a moment that a benevolent extraterrestrial species has decided to undertake a scouting mission to our planet. For the sake of argument, we’ll say that due to their advanced technologies, they are able to evade detection as they approach our planet and slip into our atmosphere. Furthermore, since they are unnoticed by any of the world’s military, they have an excellent opportunity to take a good, long look around.

Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Can you imagine what their initial impressions would be? I’m betting that right away, their sensors would detect harmful chemicals in the water, soil, and air. A moment later they might jet to the other side of the globe only to observe a million square miles of trash in the Pacific Ocean. Disappointed, they would continue onward. Throughout the world's countries they would glimpse corporate greed. Weapons of mass destruction. Corrupt leadership. Poverty. War. Rape. Murder. Drug addiction. Human trafficking. And if all that weren’t enough, they’d spot the catastrophic results of nuclear power plants placed in areas prone to natural disasters. After collecting all this data, they would reluctantly send it back to their mothership.

Seconds later, they would receive instructions to stay an additional day and learn more about average Earthlings.

To the scouts’ amazement, they pick up on the energy fields of well-intended people. Better yet, they discover these benevolent people number in the billions. The scouts then decide to read the minds of several select individuals. This is where they first learn about the construct of human love. Through a number of other encounters they discover the vast range of creativity humans bring forth—everything from art to music to literature to theater to science and technology. Then they uncover the compassion many people feel towards animals and the importance they place on family and friendship. Several people may report a hunger to advance humankind through scientific and technological breakthroughs. Others may share that they always knew something or someone existed beyond the Earth. And lastly, they uncover an ever-growing commitment to cleaning up Earth’s environment while lifting up those born into poverty.

Within hours, this race of extraterrestrial beings would come to understand that the human race represents two distinct sides of the same coin. Now, they are faced with a dilemma. They can sit back, do nothing and watch us destroy ourselves or they can intervene on a global scale and at all levels of society to help ensure our survival.

Think about it. Do you really believe a highly advanced, benevolent race would abandon us in our time of need? Please feel free to (respectfully) share your thoughts. I look forward to hearing from you!

My very best wishes to each and every one you this holiday season.

15 Signs You Might Be a Starseed

12/3/2017

Picture
For those of you wondering if you might be a starseed (a highly evolved soul whose origin is from the stars or a higher dimension), here are fifteen signs for you to consider:

1. As a child, you didn't quite fit in. You sensed/understood things most other kids never even thought about. This made it hard for them to relate to you and vice-versa.

2. Deep down, you have a desire to go "home" and understand that your place of origin is off-planet.

3. Since childhood, you've had strong psychic and paranormal experiences. (Dreaming into the future, seeing UFOs, contact with aliens, seeing spirits.)

4. To say you're highly sensitive is an understatement.

5. You know you're here for a really important reason, even if you're not yet sure what your mission might be.

6. You're highly empathetic.

7. Others see your inner, Divine light and may comment that you almost glow.

8. You feel your inner, Divine light radiate outward and strive to use it for the greater good.

9. There's a timeless quality to you. You believe values matter. Ethics are highly important to you.

10. You care about people and are deeply connected to nature, animals and the universe.

11. As an adult, you don't completely fit in. Others may view you as a bit different, even though they consider you to be a nice person.

12. You may not relate very well to your family. They may feel so different from you that you've wondered on and off (especially as a child) if you were adopted.

13. You are instantly cognizant of the energy of others, be it positive or negative.

14. You are gifted, psychically-speaking. You are able to energy-heal or channel with relative ease.

15. Somehow you know or suspect you are a starseed who has been placed upon this planet to help aid in humankind's ascension.

It is my sincere hope that you have found this post to be helpful. Please feel free to share your starseed-like experiences here. I'd love to hear from you!

Blessings and best wishes.

Touched By An Angel

With the warmth and beauty of summer upon us, I find myself reflecting on what has surely been a pivotal point in my life.  This personally all-important, fork-in-the-road started on a summer afternoon a few years ago. Looking back, I recall it was a day like any other except for one thing: I just so happened to notice a solitary white butterfly playfully frolicking among the vegetation near my home. And while insects of this type are fairly common where I live, what I remember most is pausing because of how uncommonly beautiful this creature was. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you this singular butterfly had an ethereal quality about it—the way its wings shimmered as it fluttered about. Still, being the perpetually-distracted type, I didn’t give it much thought, at least not until it zigzagged in and out around my head.

For the fourth time.

Crazy as it may sound, I sensed the insect was trying to tell me something, but not in the delicate whisper you’d expect from someone with paper-thin wings. This was more of a bull horn approach in the form of a biologically-based dive-bomb.  Viscerally, I felt the message was intended as a kind of wake-up call, but in relation to what exactly I wasn’t sure. Perhaps an even better question would have been why now?

The answer began to unfold later that same evening. To her credit, my step-mom tried to reach me prior to my logging onto Facebook, but as the devastating news of my dad’s death trickled in, I found myself thinking back to that butterfly--my butterfly. Jarring as the news was, in that very moment of reading about my father’s passing, I somehow knew the butterfly was his way of reaching out to me with an important message. The only question was what was he trying to communicate?

What came next is what does for most folks, I suppose—a whirlwind of travel plans, ceremonies, and heart-felt condolences. Not surprisingly, touching my father’s cold, lifeless hand was yet one more reminder of just how few of us live the lives of our dreams, not to mention how distracted many of us become as the years race by. Such had become an all too familiar theme in my own life. To my frustration, hard as I tried to extricate myself from the frenzied pace and problems typical of our time, I just couldn’t quite escape the feeling of being a rat trapped inside an emotionally-numbing maze.

Over the weeks and months that followed, I was delighted to find my step mother and I had grown much closer, and to this day I consider ours to be a meaningful relationship—a precious gift left to both of us by my father. In one of our numerous email exchanges she suggested I contact a high school buddy of my father’s. “He’s a writer—you should have a lot in common,” she informed me. Of course I was hesitant, mainly because I wasn’t sure I was done licking my wounds.  Having a father who had a love affair with vodka tends to have that effect.

It wasn’t long after our conversation that the universe once again tapped me on the shoulder. This time I was working on my first practice novel when I saw the half-dreaded email message come in. Holding my breath, I read how Ted had been my father’s friend back in high school and how my step-mom had invited him to communicate with me.

My heart hammered inside my chest.

After all, hitting the reply button might result in opening a Pandora’s Box. But to not do so would be rude. Still, I knew that by sending a message back, I would likely find myself confronting my father’s teen years—all while raising a teen of my own! For heaven’s sake, I was still grieving. Did I really want to know what I didn’t already know?

Suddenly I could hear the clinking of ice cubes and the glug-glug-glug of vodka playing like an old, rerun in the back of my mind. I had always assumed my father would die before his time in one of his violent, car collisions. To my happy surprise he had survived those horrific years and gone on to live a clean and sober life. Even so, it's funny how those old ghosts haunt us decades later.

Nervously, I replied to Ted. I politely thanked him for reaching out to me, all the while trying to figure out where this was going. Back and forth we went. What I quickly discovered was how incredibly warm, intelligent and comical this man was!  Known to most of the rest of the world simply as author T. Emerson May, Ted told me stories of when he and my dad were in their late teens…about cars and girls and cigarettes and about how well-dressed and cordial my father was.  Before I knew it, I began to remember snippets of the man he was describing.

And that’s when it hit me. We all have those dark parts within us. Each and every one of us is like a two-sided coin—one part light and goodness and the other dark and in need of work. This life lesson was one I would later incorporate in my writing. Already, Ted had influenced me without even knowing it.

As our friendship grew, Ted and I talked more and more about the art of writing. To his credit, he answered a number of basic questions. He also listened to a lot of whining from me.  “Just stick with it,” he said, as he recalled his own early struggles. We seemed to agree on the enormous challenge of learning how to write dialogue that’s not only interesting, but also moves a story forward.  For me it was wonderful to converse with someone who had become a prolific writer, as it gave me hope that one day I too might reach this lofty goal.

Through Ted’s gentle brand of encouragement - along with the passage of time - I’m happy to say that I feel like a “real writer” now. I’m also at peace with the memory of my father.  As I write this it occurs to me my dad knew what a treasure Ted was to him. Maybe he knew what a dear friend he became to me as well.

Looking back, I don’t believe any portion of what happened was coincidence. In fact, from where I’m standing today, I’m certain meeting Ted was the product of divine intervention. It may sound funny, but it seems as if the magic potion for getting me on track as a writer consisted of a couple of earth angels, a butterfly, and maybe a little smattering of cosmic dust thrown in for good measure. It was only through this precise combination of people and events that I was able to get back to where I always knew I belonged—firmly implanted in the future. Without Ted’s influence, my ALTERNATE REALITIES stories and DARK STAR sci-fi series might never have gotten off the ground. Of course all of this began with that one ethereal butterfly--my butterfly—sent by my father as an urgent wake-up call to stop being distracted and start living the life of my dreams.

Message received, Dad.
Thank you again, Ted.
I love and miss you both. May you rest in peace.

    About My Encounters
    By D. M. Atwood

"More than anything, I want to connect with others who've been through extraterrestrial, UFO or paranormal  encounters. Such events leave you with so many unanswered questions...but often, that's just the beginning. What I mean is, some folks, like myself, go through bizarre things afterwards. For me, a fifty minute encounter with a large, luminous orb marked the beginning of a complete and total spiritual transformation. Honestly, what I've been through has been beyond difficult, yet it's been magical and mystical and has opened doors and opportunities for me that I never would've thought possible. Strange as it may sound, I'm truly grateful for my experiences because I now know we're not alone. To feel as connected to the universe as I do is an incredible gift. I now see life completely differently and I'm much happier for it."
